Having a baby is the happiest time in my life. I am sure that this is also the happiest time of your life especially if it’s your first child and you’re the daddy. I think it is engraved to us humans to celebrate the start of every life. But with the joyous feeling, I also felt fear somehow, because one life depends on you for your survival. I know that things will be a lot different when the baby comes. And as I found out after a few years, I was correct with my conclusion.
I know that you could relate to my experience having a baby especially if it’s for the first time. The feeling was out of this world and when you hold your baby for the first time in your arms, it’s like everything will be okay. The Bible clearly states that a child is a heritage from God, and knowing that we should take care of them with the best of our ability. That is why I really detest those parents that abuse their child. I’ve seen videos in the internet of parents hitting their child in the head and swinging them like dolls even if the child is continuously crying as though asking for mercy to his parents. I think that it must not be posted in the first place; it must be reported to proper authorities. They must be punished for abusing their children.
But for loving parents, they are willing to sacrifice all for the sake of their child. They plan ahead of time even before the child is born. And because of the advancement of modern technology today, we can now know if it’s a girl or a boy. I remember what my mother used to tell me back in her days; they used to buy baby clothes for both boys and girls because there is no definite way of determining the gender of a baby. But now you can even buy for toys that are appropriate for your baby. For 0 – 2 years old baby I recommend something like the Busy Beads Maze that has large and colorful bead pieces. The sizes of the beads are not a choking hazard for babies. It also comes with a stable small table that suits the little hands of your baby. It can help your baby develop good hand-eye coordination and its best for visual stimulation also.
I saw this toy in my friend’s house and I plan to buy one for my baby too. In fact, after writing this article, I will be on my way to the toy store to look for it. I only hope that I can find one, wish me luck guys and see you next time. Thanks.
